What is this blog about?
"A log of live music recording, vinyl, cassette and digital archiving of the Winnipeg Music underground."
Inspired (to action, if not in concept) in part by Golden-Rock (Calgary), NYCTapers (New York) and MUXTape.
At the least this will be an open book exploration, and meaningful archive of Winnipeg music.
I need sponsorship - first one is $30 per year to cover the initial setup of web hosting and related traffic for one year. This will grow as our database of music grows.
I am also interested sponsorship to pay royalties to artists per listen. But there will need to be some discussion about streaming, sponsorship, scrobbling, artist tip jars, and user voluntary pay - my target is $0.01 per listen.
